Physical Therapists

Physical Therapy helps people reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. Our physical therapists will teach you how to manage your condition so that you will achieve improved health and quality of life.

They will examine you to develop a plan of care that is tailored to your needs and use treatment techniques to restore your ability to move, reduce your pain, restore your function, and prevent disability.  They will work with you to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

Each of our therapists undergoes advanced training in the services we provide.

Mobility Therapy

Our therapists use multiple treatment techniques to facilitate the return of movement to muscles paralyzed by central nervous system damage. Your therapy program may include the following depending on your needs:

  • NeuroDevelopmental Treatment therapy
  • LSVT Big therapy
  • Saebo Technology

In this type of therapy, you will work on activities to improve mobility (movement), muscle control, gait (walking), and balance. We have exercise programs to improve movement, prevent or decrease weakness caused by lack of use, and maintain range of motion. To this end, your therapist will use exercise coupled with techniques to manage spasticity and pain.

We also help with pain management, which helps you get the most out of therapy. Modalities can be very effective in reducing pain. Because of this, your program may include:

  • Dry Needling
  • NeuroMuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES)
  • Low-Level Laser Therapy
