TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

I received my Masters in Communicative Science Disorders from Alabama A&M in Normal, AL and have worked in the field of Speech Therapy for almost 15 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, home health, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and schools.

 

EXPERTISE & CERTIFICATIONS

In the outpatient setting, I work primarily with people who have Head & Neck cancer, Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and other neurological issues. I specialize in treating dysphagia, cognitive impairment, and communication difficulty. I enjoy helping people with dysphagia learn to eat safely and the improvement that makes to their quality of life.
