Happy Mother's Day 2020!

Happy Mother's Day!  Mother's Day has been celebrated in the U.S. as an official holiday since 1914.  The holiday originated from Anna Jarvis’ desire to honor her mother. She wanted to publicly acknowledge the sacrifices her mother and other mothers make for their children. And the time and energy mothers devote to their families. Because of this, she perused the establishment of an official day to recognize the value of all they do. Because of Anna’s devotion and persistence, people around the world now pay homage to their mothers on the second Sunday each May.
